How to
Join Us The Canadian Contingent Paintball Club
is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting and playing
recreational paintball. It does not hold "try-outs", does
not practice, and does not demand unswerving, exclusive loyalty
of its members. Some of us even belong to other paintball clubs
and/or teams! We are simply a group of paintball players out to
have fun with other safe and responsible players. .
But don't be fooled - we have all the trappings of "real" paintball
teams - patches, t-shirts, and club (hockey) jerseys - and we're
organized, too - e-mail and phone lists, occasional (optional) meetings,
this nifty Web page, the works. Being involved with a recreational
paintball club does not mean you have to fly second-class.
Here's how to become a member of the Canadian Contingent Paintball
Club:
- First, read, understand and agree with the letter and the spirit
of our Charter and Rules of Play.
- Come out and play with us a few times as our guest (and/or be
sponsored by a current member). If you have a responsible and
sportsmanlike attitude, you will already feel like one of us when
you arrive.
- If we believe you have what it takes to be an ambassador for
safe and fun paintball, we will invite you to become a member.
We offer 2 different membership packages. A single membership
costs only $15 for the first year with renewals being $10 or a
Family membership whereby up to 4 members of the same family pay
only $30 for the first year with renewals being $20, for which
you will receive:
- A laminated membership card with your photo;
- An arm patch;
- Entitlement to purchase a hockey jersey - the ultimate symbol
of Canadian Contingent membership, along with other CanCon wear;
- Access to the "For Members Only..." area on the
Canadian Contingent web site;
- The benefits of other sponsorships, which we are from time
to time privileged to receive.
Field owners may receive one honorary (free) membership; contact
the Club
President for details.
